　　六、主讲内容：

　　In this talk, we will explore how 5G and beyond communication systems along with IoT infrastructure aims to transform the way how we live our lives. The transport, healthcare, education, entertainment, governance, care, industrial automation and many other sectors will have significant impact of digital connectivity. A certain grade of connectivity is needed for each application. We will explore the developments and research directions for wireless cellular networks and share some ongoing research projects’ outcomes.

　　七、主讲人简介：

　　Professor Muhammad Ali Imran received his M.Sc. (Distinction) and Ph.D. degrees from Imperial College London, UK, in 2002 and 2007, respectively. He is a Professor in Communication Systems in University of Glasgow, Dean University of Glasgow UESTC, Head of Communications Sensing and Imaging (CSI) research group and Director of Glasgow UESTC Centre of Educational Development and Innovation. He is an affiliate Professor at the University of Oklahoma, USA and a visiting Professor at 5G Innovation centre, University of Surrey, UK, where he has worked previously from June 2007 to Aug 2016.
